Ms. Morakane Madiba

Founder of Uhunu Centre for Guidance & Learning / Skill & Sustainable Development Expert

Morakane Madiba, has been a research consultant for government and non-government institutions in projects about skills development, sustainable development, citizen science, and education. Through Uhunu which was developed in 2015 and is currently known as Uhuru, she became a mentor to youths in business and environmental businesses, runs business and academic proposal writing sessions for novices in the field. She also conducts career exhibitions for the marginalized secondary schools in the rural and township areas in South Africa. She is currently a PhD candidate at Rhodes University – Environmental Learning and Research Centre (ELRC) focusing of Monitoring and Evaluation of Qualitative Projects/Studies. She is a committee member of Future Earth Systems of Sustainable Consumptions and Productions – Knowledge Action Networks (SCCP-KAN). Also a member of Competencies and Ethics guidelines committee at Asia Pacific Career Development Association (APCDA).
